What I loved and hated about each season of Pretty Little Liars

Season 6

Loved: Caleb and Spencer

I know. I know. I’ve talked ad nauseam about how much I love Spoby. But I can’t even lie, this pairing was so intriguing to me. I liked it. And I wasn’t the only one.

I respected the writers taking a chance with this relationship. Caleb and Spencer were two intelligent characters who, if you really paid attention, complemented one another. They were a better match than fans may have realized or wanted to admit.

Additionally, Spaleb was the first (truly) adult relationship for any of the four main characters. The two had spent the past few years developing feelings for each other. And when they finally got together, those feelings were strong – and enough to make me blush.

But like most of the new relationships on Pretty Little Liars, Spaleb didn’t last long.

Hated: Spencer’s look

I know this is trivial, but I couldn’t let it slide.

The second half of Season 6 takes place five years into the future when Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are all in their early 20s. Unfortunately, everyone’s hair and outfits looked fantastic – except Spencer’s.

Again, they did my girl dirty. *sigh*

Homegirl had the misfortune of sporting the bangs of a 5-year-old from the 90s and some of the worst outfits I’ve ever seen. One of which was a blue and yellow plaid blazer with matching pants. Yeesh.

It just wasn’t a good look.
