What I loved and hated about each season of Pretty Little Liars

Season 2

Loved: Jenna getting under Ali’s skin

So, in general, Jenna was awful – and a tad terrifying.

But I developed some respect for her after watching how she handled Ali when they first interacted. The showdown took place in a flashback to the Halloween before Ali went missing.

Ruh roh. The new girl already scored an invitation to the biggest party of the year, thrown by one of the hottest boys in school, and planned to dress as the same celebrity? Yeah, Ali’s claws were coming out.

But Jenna wasn’t rattled (starting at 1:33).

Jenna not only defied Ali’s “orders” to change her costume, but she also turned down the offer to join her crew. And unlike most of the Rosewood High kids, she wasn’t the least bit intimidated by the self-proclaimed HBIC.

Honestly, Jenna’s costume was way better anyway. Ali looked more like an 80s punk rock singer. That wig was kind of ratch. Just sayin’.

Hated: The dolls!

I don’t do dolls. They give me the willies.

Unfortunately, Season 3 was filled with them: talking dolls, voodoo dolls, moving dolls. One scene had me shuddering, and it may or may not have given me nightmares.

Needless to say, my pediophobia was triggered. Big time.
